Jenna Crawford and Wesley Boyd were united in marriage on January 31, 2015. The bride is the daughter of Joe and Yvonne Crawford, who reside in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi. The groom is the son of Johnny and Lisa Boyd, who reside in Hernando, Mississippi. 

 

Before they were newlyweds, Jenna and Adam worked together at the restaurant Smokey Bones. Try as she might, Jenna says she just couldn’t ignore Adam, the flirtatious bartender behind the counter. 

Fast forward to 2013, and the adoring duo was ready to take their relationship to the next level. They were on vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, when Adam decided it was time to pop the big question. The couple was taking a romantic walk on the beach, picking up shells here and there to take home as souvenirs. After seeing only half shells and other broken bits, Adam excitedly told Jenna that he discovered a whole shell. When she turned around to see the one-of-a-kind shell, she found Adam on both knees holding out a shell that he custom made with an engagement ring inside.

 

The ceremony was held on January 31, 2015, at the Pink Palace. The bride wore a Mori Lee gown with long sleeves and flowing lace train. Styled after Kate Middleton’s wedding gown, the ensemble also featured a Queen Anne neckline and a ball gown cut. She was escorted down the aisle by her father, while Ben, a friend of the groom, played the piano. Mike Nolen officiated the ceremony. Both the bride and the groom wrote their own vows, and there was a special blessing of the family.

 

A reception followed in the Pink Palace’s ballroom. The celebration featured a 007 theme, as the bride and groom took James Bond-inspired engagement photos. Not only were these photos blown up and placed around the ballroom, there were also life-size cut outs of James Bond scattered about for guests to take photos with. A family-style meal was served, which included chicken wellington and steelhead trout.

 

After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the happy couple is at home in Southaven, Mississippi. Jenna works at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, PLC, a personal injury law firm. Adam attends Christian Brothers University, where he’s studying to be a physician assistant.
